I wrote this song back in 2019, when I was in the middle of an intense worship ministry school and I found myself dealing with constant sickness and unbearable stress.

The song's message is that time will pass and life will go on, no matter how difficult the present moment may be and no matter how trapped in the difficulty I may feel. I've found comfort in that message throughout several hardships in my life, including getting diagnosed with cancer in January 2020 and the subsequent testing and surgery, the abuse I suffered at the hands of the church when I "confessed to same-sex attraction," and more.

I held onto this song for a few years because it didn't feel right to release it back in 2019, but my gut is telling me that now is the time. 2023 was a particularly difficult year for me and so the song kept coming back up in my head and helping me through some of the harder days.
